Amman, Nov. 9 (Petra) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates expressed its deepest condolences to the Vietnamese government and people over for the victims of the typhoon that struck the country’s central provinces, killing and injuring several people and prompting the evacuation of thousands.
In a statement Sunday, the ministry’s official spokesperson, Fouad Majali, affirmed the Kingdom’s “full” sympathy and solidarity with the government and people of friendly Vietnam in this tragic event, expressing sincere condolences to the victims’ families and wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
