Amman, Nov. 6 (Petra)– Minister of Transport Nidal Al-Qatamin met on Thursday with the Ambassador of India to Jordan, Manish Chauhan, to discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation between the two friendly countries in the transport sector.
During the meeting, Al-Qatamin highlighted the depth of Jordanian-Indian relations, which are founded on mutual respect and shared interests. He emphasized the importance of developing collaboration in various modes of transport to help boost trade and tourism exchanges between Jordan and India.
Ambassador Chauhan expressed his appreciation for the distinguished friendship between the two nations, reaffirming India’s keenness to further expand bilateral cooperation, particularly in the field of transportation.
The discussions covered potential cooperation in air, maritime, and rail transport, as well as the exchange of expertise, in order to achieve greater integration and serve the common interests of both countries.
The meeting comes as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen bilateral relations and broaden economic cooperation between Jordan and India.
