Amman, Oct. 23 (Petra) – Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Azmi Mahafzah met Thursday with Kuwaiti Ambassador to Jordan Hamad Rashid Al-Marri to discuss ways to strengthen collaboration in higher education and scientific research.
The two sides highlighted the deep historical ties between Jordan and Kuwait and explored areas of joint interest, including academic expertise exchange, student mobility, and enhanced cooperation between universities and educational institutions.
Mahafzah underlined the ministry’s commitment to attracting more Kuwaiti students to Jordanian universities and to facilitating their enrollment by addressing any obstacles they may encounter.
Currently, around 2,700 Kuwaiti students are enrolled in various higher education institutions across Jordan.
