
Muscat, January 8 (Petra) – Jordan is taking part in a program in Oman Wednesday, bringing together media institutions from 18 Arab and foreign countries.
The event aims to review the Sultanate’s achievements in various sectors, mainly foreign policy, tourism, social development, economy, investment, energy, logistics, and other sectors, according to the Omani Ministry of Information.
Held over two days, the event coincides with the Sultanate’s celebrations of the 5th anniversary of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq’s assumption of power, as part of a comprehensive program for international media organizations to acquaint with the Arab Gulf country’s growth and prosperity.
49 world media institutions are engaging in the activities, representing Jordan, Arab Gulf nations, Egypt, Iraq, Belgium, Russia, China, South Korea and India, in addition to the news agencies of Reuters and the Associated Press AP.
