Amman, Dec. 8 (Petra) – The CEO of the Jordan Phosphate Mines Company (JPMC), Abdel Wahab Rawad,, met on Monday with the Ambassador of the Republic of Sudan to Amman, Hassan Swar Dahab, to explore avenues for enhancing collaboration in the phosphate fertilizer sector. The discussions aimed to meet Sudanese market needs and strengthen economic ties between the two countries.
During the meeting at JPMC headquarters, Rawad underscored the longstanding relations between Jordan and Sudan, particularly in the economic sphere, and highlighted the company’s commitment to expanding international partnerships in line with the Royal vision to promote investment.
Rawad outlined the JPMC’s achievements and upcoming projects in manufacturing industries and specialized fertilizers. He underscored the company’s readiness to supply Sudan with DAP fertilizer and to provide Jordanian expertise in phosphate exploration and production, supporting the development of Sudan’s phosphate sector and enhancing its technical and production capabilities.
Swar Dahab expressed Sudan’s interest in leveraging Jordanian experience in phosphate-related industries to strengthen the country’s technical and technological capacities. He praised the JPMC’s advanced production capabilities and described his visit as productive, opening new prospects for joint cooperation.
