Amman, Oct. 21 (Petra) Jordan Post and DHL Jordan on Tuesday signed a cooperation agreement covering training, capacity-building, and e-commerce initiatives.
According to a statement from Jordan Post, under the agreement, DHL will provide scholarships to train 100 young men and women at the International Academy for E-Commerce and Logistics, the training arm of Jordan Post.
The agreement was signed by Jordan Post Director General Hanadi Al-Tayeb and DHL Jordan Director General Khaled Salim, in the presence of Jordan Post Board Chairman Sami Al-Dawood, DHL Middle East and North Africa CEO Abdulaziz Bousbeit, and International Academy Director Ihab Abu Daya.
The Academy will provide Jordanian youth with training in e-commerce, logistics, digital marketing, online stores and platforms, as well as digital financial services.
The agreement aims to equip participants with the necessary skills, knowledge, and digital tools to utilize modern technology in e-commerce and marketing, establish online stores, and navigate global digital platforms, enabling them to access local and international job markets.
