Jeddah, Nov. 10 (Petra) – Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, Mohammad Al-Khalaileh, and Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Tawfig AlRabiah, signed on Monday an agreement to organize the pilgrimage for Jordanians and Arabs of the 1948 territories for the Hijri year 1447.
The agreement is part of coordination between the two ministries and early preparations for the upcoming Hajj season.
It was signed during Khalilah’s visit to participate in the fifth edition of the Hajj and Umrah Conference and Exhibition, held under the theme “From Mecca to the World,” sponsored by Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz from November 9 to 12.
The event hosts more than 270 local and international entities in discussion sessions and workshops.
