Amman, February 1 (Petra) – The Jordan Securities Commission announced that its Board of Commissioners approved the registration of the Capital Global Investment Fund, established by the Jordanian Investment and Brokerage Company last Wednesday.
The fund was established as part of the Capital Market Development and Revitalisation Initiative, a key component of the second executive programme of the Economic Modernisation Vision (2026–2029).
The launch of mutual investment funds is among the government’s objectives to deepen the capital market, broaden participation and diversify investment instruments and products.
The Capital Global Investment Fund is an open-ended mutual investment fund with an initial capital of JOD2 million and a maximum investment ceiling of JOD50 million.
It aims to provide investors in the Kingdom with indirect investment opportunities through specialised fund management that allocates assets across a diversified range of financial instruments.
The fund focuses on investments in local and international equity markets, as well as fixed-income instruments such as bonds, in carefully determined proportions. It allocates part of its assets to money market instruments, achieving a balance between return and risk.
The commission said the launch of the fund supports efforts to enhance confidence in the Jordanian capital market, offer diversified investment options and encourage greater participation by individuals and institutions, in line with the goals of economic modernisation and sustainable growth.
