Amman, Nov. 20 (Petra) — Jordan is strengthening its international footprint in youth development as the Al Hassan Youth Award takes part in the 2025 Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Conference, held this year in Lagos, Nigeria.
The gathering is one of the world’s foremost platforms dedicated to empowering young people and advancing their role in community development.
Representing Jordan, the Award’s Director, Dr. Khawla Al-Hassan, joins global leaders and youth-focused institutions in discussions aimed at shaping the future of youth engagement.
According to a statement issued Thursday, the participation highlights Jordan’s growing presence in international forums and reflects a strategic commitment to expanding pathways for young people and equipping future leaders with the tools they need to thrive.
Throughout the conference, Dr. Al-Hassan will contribute to high-level strategic sessions and interactive workshops exploring new approaches to youth programming, knowledge exchange among nations, and innovative ideas to strengthen the Award’s impact locally and internationally.
The event also provides Jordan with a valuable opportunity to forge fresh partnerships and deepen cooperation with leading global youth organizations. These connections are expected to support the development of forward-looking, impactful programs that meet the needs and ambitions of Jordanian youth.
