Amman, Feb. 18 (Petra) — Amman Mayor Yousef Shawarbeh met Wednesday with Sudanese Ambassador to Jordan Hassan Saleh Suwar Al-Dahab to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation between Amman and Khartoum.
Shawarbeh haied the longstanding Jordanian-Sudanese relations, pledging the municipality’s commitment to enhancing ties, supporting joint initiatives, and leveraging municipal expertise to promote sustainable development, improve services, and raise citizens’ quality of life.
The envoy commended Amman’s efforts in building partnerships with sister cities, noting the municipality’s progress in municipal, urban, and cultural sectors, as well as its infrastructure development plans and service enhancement projects.
He expressed his government’s readiness to further cooperation and exchange expertise for the mutual benefit of the two cities.
