Amman, Oct. 7 (Petra) — The volume of trade exchange between Jordan and Sweden reached approximately JD37 million during the first seven months of this year, with a trade deficit of JD31 million in favor of Sweden, according to data from the Department of Statistics.
The report showed that Jordan’s exports to Sweden amounted to JD3 million by the end of July 2025, compared to JD2 million during the same period last year. The main exports included plant products, dried dates, food industry goods, and prepared food products.
Meanwhile, imports from Sweden reached JD34 million, down from JD50 million in the corresponding period of 2024. Imports primarily consisted of chemical and pharmaceutical products, machinery and electrical equipment, wood and wood products, and paper and pulp.
