Amman, Oct. 21 (Petra) – Minister of Water and Irrigation Raed Abu Saud met on Tuesday with Turkish Ambassador to Jordan Yakup Caymazoglu to discuss cooperation in the water sector and the ministry’s efforts to address water challenges and enhance sector management.
Abu Saud highlighted that Jordan’s water sector has developed innovative solutions, becoming a regional model in water management through the adoption of modern treatment technologies and the implementation of major strategic projects.
Cayamazoglu commended Jordan’s achievements in the water sector, expressing Türkiye’s interest in strengthening cooperation amid climate change challenges and noting Jordan’s role as a regional model in water management.
