Amman, Feb. 1 (Petra) – The joint military “Exercise Olive Grove,” conducted by Khalid bin Al-Waleed Brigade / 15, one of the units of the King Hussein bin Ali Brigade, in cooperation with the British side, on Sunday wrapped up its activities at the designated training area.
Brigade commander and the assistant commander of the British Armed Forces in Cyprus attended the closing ceremony.
On its goals, the drill featured field drills simulating combat in built-up areas, involving deployment of various types of weapons and handling fortified positions and defensive trenches, in accordance with the specific operational scenarios.
The four-week exercise is part of the joint training programs, implemented by the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF)-Arab Army, aimed at enhancing operational preparedness, strengthening combat capabilities, and exchanging military expertise with allied and friendly nations.
