Amman, Feb. 6 (Petra)– The Ministry of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs welcomed the holding of negotiations between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran in Muscat.
The Ministry’s official spokesperson, Ambassador Fouad Al-Majali, said Jordan looks forward to the talks leading to a comprehensive agreement that serves the interests of both parties and contributes to enhancing security and stability in the region.
Ambassador Al-Majali also expressed the Kingdom’s full appreciation for the role of the Sultanate of Oman in hosting the negotiations, as well as its support for the efforts of sisterly and friendly countries aimed at de-escalation, achieving calm in the region, and finding peaceful solutions through diplomacy and dialogue.
