Abu Dhabi, Sept 8 (Petra) – Ambassador Majed Thalji Qatarneh presented his credentials Monday to the President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, becoming the accredited resident ambassador of the Kingdom in the UAE during a ceremony at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi.
Ambassador Qatarneh conveyed greetings from His Majesty King Abdullah II to Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and extended wishes for continued progress and prosperity to the people of the UAE.
In response, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed conveyed his greetings and appreciation to the King, praising his wise policies and the distinguished relations between the two brotherly countries. He expressed his country’s interest in further strengthening and developing bilateral ties with Jordan and wished the Kingdom and its people continued progress and prosperity.
The credentials ceremony was attended by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Presidential Affairs, and Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
