Amman, Oct. 27 (Petra) – A delegation from the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC), led by Chairperson Lara Khateeb, took part in the International Cybersecurity Week 2025 in Singapore under the theme “Shaping the Next Era of Global Cybersecurity.”
According to a TRC statement, Khateeb participated in high-level dialogue sessions addressing global cybersecurity, policy frameworks, and operational, technical, and diplomatic issues, highlighting the role of international companies in advancing cybersecurity.
Khateeb also met with the Chairperson of Singapore’s Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), learning about Singapore’s advanced regulatory practices in telecommunications governance, digital infrastructure services, and cybersecurity and digital transformation policies.
Both sides discussed potential cooperation in capacity building, developing regulatory frameworks for cybersecurity, and sharing best practices in regulatory innovation funds.
