Amman, Sept. 4 (Petra) – Jordanian boxer Abada Al-Kasbah kicked off his campaign at the World Boxing Championships in Liverpool with a win, defeating Sweden’s Hampus Roman in the Round of 64 (under-65 kg).
Al-Kasbah now advances to face Japan’s Shion Nishiyama on Sunday.
Fellow Jordanian Youssef Ashish fell to France’s Christopher in the under-55 kg category. Tomorrow, Hudhaifa Ashish (under-50 kg) and Mohammed Al-Hussein (under-75 kg) will take to the ring for Jordan.
