celebrated a monumental personal milestone, scoring his 400th club career goal,
to guide Bayern Munich to a 2-1 victory over arch-rivals Borussia Dortmund and
maintain their perfect start to the Bundesliga season.

The England captain broke the
deadlock in the first half of Der Klassiker, rising highest to meet a Joshua
Kimmich corner and power a header into the net. The 22nd-minute strike marked
his 12th goal in just his 11th Bundesliga appearance for the club.

Bayern doubled their lead in
fortuitous circumstances after the break. A clearance from Dortmund’s Jobe
Bellingham struck the sliding Michael Olise and ricocheted into the net from
inside the six-yard box.

The visitors set up a tense finale
when Julian Brandt finished from close range following a Julian Ryerson cross
in the 84th minute. However, the league leaders demonstrated their resolve to
see out the match and secure all three points.

Kane’s journey to 400 club goals
spans nearly 15 years, beginning with his first for Leyton Orient (on loan from
Tottenham) in a League One match against Sheffield Wednesday in January 2011.
The 32-year-old has since amassed an astonishing tally: 280 goals for
Tottenham, 104 for Bayern, and further strikes for Millwall, Leicester, and
Leyton Orient.

His efficiency since moving to
Germany has been remarkable, averaging a goal every 52 minutes. While his
landmark goal was his first and only shot on target in the match, Kane’s
influence extended far beyond finishing. He frequently dropped into a deeper
playmaking role, orchestrating Bayern’s attacks from inside his own half.

With this victory, Bayern solidify
their position at the summit of the Bundesliga, their 100% winning record
