Hanoi, Nov 12 (Petra) — His Majesty King Abdullah II met with Chairman of the National Assembly of Vietnam Tr?n Thanh M?n in Hanoi on Wednesday.
The meeting covered the long-standing friendship between Jordan and Vietnam, ways to enhance parliamentary cooperation, as well as the latest developments in the Middle East, particularly the situation in Gaza and the West Bank.
His Majesty commended Vietnam’s position in support of the two-state solution as the only way to achieve just and comprehensive peace in the region.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, Director of the Office of His Majesty Alaa Batayneh, Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply Yarub Qudah, and Jordan’s non-resident Ambassador to Vietnam Saed Radaideh attended the meeting.
