Amman, Jan. 13 (Petra) – The Ministry of Water and Irrigation / Jordan Valley Authority said on Tuesday evening that large volumes of water are flowing into the Al Wala Dam in Madaba Governorate, expecting the dam to reach its full storage capacity of 25 million cubic meters and an overflow to occur within the coming hours.
The Authority urged citizens, farmers and residents in areas located downstream of the dam to exercise caution and adhere to the instructions issued by the relevant authorities in order to preserve public safety.
