Amman, Jan 12 (Petra) – Northern regions of the kingdom are currently experiencing unstable weather conditions, with rainfall and dense fog recorded in the Ras Munif area of Ajloun governorate, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said on Monday.
Horizontal visibility in the area has dropped to less than 10 meters, the department added in a statement.
Authorities urged drivers to exercise maximum caution and vigilance while driving due to the significantly reduced visibility.
The JMD noted that rainfall has also commenced at the Sama monitoring station in the Irbid governorate as the prevailing weather system continues to affect northern Jordan.
