Amman, Oct. 23 (Petra) – Makassed Charitable Hospital, affiliated with the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, on Thursday signed a cooperation agreement with Qatar Charity to enhance health services for Syrian refugee kidney dialysis patients whose treatment is funded by the charity.
The agreement aims to strengthen humanitarian and community partnerships and improve the quality of healthcare provided to vulnerable populations.
The agreement was signed by Makassed Hospital Director-General Bassam Shaloul and Qatar Charity’s Jordan Office Director Dharar Maaytah.
The cooperation reflects both institutions’ shared commitment to advancing medical and humanitarian services, broadening access to healthcare, and supporting the most disadvantaged groups, particularly Syrian refugees in need of dialysis treatment.
