Amman, Oct. 29 (Petra) — Mild autumn weather will prevail on Wednesday before temperatures rise slightly on Thursday and Friday, bringing moderate conditions across most regions, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department.
On Wednesday, temperatures will drop slightly, resulting in pleasant conditions over the highlands and moderate weather elsewhere. High clouds will appear at times, and northwesterly winds will blow at a moderate speed, occasionally active in open areas.
A slight rise in temperatures is forecast for Thursday, with readings climbing 4 to 6 degrees Celsius above the seasonal average. The weather will be moderate overall, with high clouds visible across the sky and easterly winds blowing at a moderate pace.
Friday will bring similar conditions, as temperatures remain above average and moderate weather continues across the country. High clouds will persist, accompanied by steady easterly winds.
By Saturday, temperatures will edge up slightly, and the weather will turn moderate in most regions and relatively warm around the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. High clouds will appear at intervals, and easterly winds will stay moderate.
Temperature readings for Wednesday show highs and lows of 27 and 14 degrees Celsius in East Amman, 25 and 12 in West Amman, 23 and 13 in the northern highlands, and 24 and 10 in the Sharah highlands.
In desert areas, temperatures will range between 29 and 14 degrees, while the plains are expected to record 25 and 13 degrees. The northern Jordan Valley will see 33 and 18 degrees, compared to 32 and 20 degrees in the southern Jordan Valley.
Around the Dead Sea, temperatures will reach 31 and 19 degrees, and 32 and 18 degrees in Aqaba.
