Amman, Jan. 13 (Petra)- Minister of Government Communications Mohammad Momani said on Tuesday that the Government of Jordan has been following the statement released by the US Departments of State and Treasury on labeling the Muslim Brotherhood’s chapters in Jordan, Egypt, and Lebanon as terrorist organizations.
Momani, who is also the government spokesperson said the Muslim Brotherhood group in Jordan has been dissolved for years, and this was reaffirmed in a court ruling in 2020. All its activities have also been banned since April 2025.
He stressed that Jordan deals with all issues in accordance with its higher national interests and in line with the Constitution and the law.
