Riyadh, January 18, 2025 (SUNA) – Minister of Minerals Noor Al-Daem Taha held a productive meeting on Saturday at the Royal Palace with His Royal Highness Prince Nayef bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, during which the two sides reviewed promising investment opportunities in the Republic of Sudan, particularly in the mining sector and its vast economic potential.Prince Nayef affirmed his interest in entering a range of investment fields in Sudan, underscoring the importance of developing economic partnerships and expanding high-quality investments that contribute to economic growth and the achievement of sustainable development.For his part, the Minister of Minerals stated that Sudan offers genuine and rewarding investment opportunities in the mining sector, supported by attractive reforms and legislation, as well as a rich and diverse resource base. He stressed the government’s commitment to creating a secure and enabling investment environment for regional and international partners.The minister added that the meeting comes within the framework of strengthening economic and investment cooperation between Sudan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in a manner that serves mutual interests and supports development pathways in both brotherly countries.BH/BH
