Amman, August 27 (Petra) — The Jordan Meteorological Department forecasts moderate summer conditions across most regions on Wednesday, while hot weather will prevail in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.
Low-altitude clouds are expected to appear, with moderate northwesterly winds occasionally becoming active.
According to the department’s report, this typical summer pattern will continue through Saturday, maintaining mild conditions in most areas and hot weather in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, along with moderate northwesterly winds that may become active at times.
Temperature readings for Wednesday are as follows: East Amman will range between 30 C and 20 C, while West Amman will see 28 C during the day and 18 C at night.
The Northern Highlands will record 27 C / 17 C, and the Sharah Highlands 26 C / 16 C. Desert areas will be hotter, with highs of 36 C and lows of 21 C. The plains will experience temperatures between 31 C and 19 C.
In the Northern Jordan Valley, temperatures will reach 38 C during the day and 24 C at night, while the Southern Jordan Valley will be warmer at 39 C / 28 C.
The Dead Sea area will record highs of 38 C and lows of 25 C, and Aqaba will experience similar highs of 39 C with nighttime lows around 27 C.
