Amman, Sept. 5 (Petra)– Friday’s maximum temperatures are predicted to be somewhat warmer than typical for this season. While most places will experience normal weather, the Badia, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba will experience scorching temperatures. There will be mild northwesterly winds.
The Jordan Meteorological Department predicts that temperatures will stay scorching in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba until Monday, while remaining mild in most other places. There will be moderate to occasionally strong northwesterly winds.
Eastern Amman will see temperatures between 33 and 20 degrees Celsius, western Amman between 31 and 18 degrees, the northern highlands between 30 and 17 degrees, the Shara Heights between 29 and 16 degrees, the Badia between 38 and 19 degrees, the plains between 34 and 21 degrees, the northern Jordan Valley between 39 and 24 degrees, the southern Jordan Valley between 41 and 27 degrees, the Dead Sea between 40 and 25 degrees, and the Gulf of Aqaba between 40 and 25 degrees today.
