Amman, Nov. 5 (Petra) – Health Care Accreditation Council (HCAC) and the Eastern Mediterranean Public Health Network (EMPHNet) on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance joint cooperation in healthcare quality, capacity building, research, and training areas.
According to a network statement, the MoU, signed by EMPHNet Executive Director Mohannad Nsour and Council CEO Dr. Salma Ja’ouni, aims to develop health systems in the region and improve “efficiency” of healthcare services.
Under the MoU, the network said the two sides would exchange expertise and technical knowledge, and coordinate efforts to implement initiatives and programs that enhance “quality and sustainability” of the region’s healthcare services.
