Amman, Nov. 17 (Petra) Deputy Speaker of the Lower House of Representatives Hala Al-Jarrah said that young people receive direct care and attention from His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II through efforts to provide and expand opportunities for creativity, excellence and empowerment across various fields.
Al-Jarrah, speaking during a meeting with a youth delegation from the RYS platform for youth work, noted that youth sectors have witnessed strong and rapid momentum that has resulted in new roles for this broad demographic group, making their presence clear in nationwide engagement and sustainable development.
She pointed out that young people have moved from a stage of routine participation to one of initiative, contribution, involvement and leadership.
For their part, the young delegates said the platform’s message reflects the King’s vision for empowering youth in all areas, stressing that successful youth-driven work must receive support and attention to ensure the sustainability of youth initiatives nationwide.
