MSX Closes
with Robust Gains, Showcasing Investor Confidence

2025 (ONA) — The benchmark MSX 30 Index of the Muscat Stock Exchange
concluded today’s trading at 5,705.72 points, posting a substantial gain of
69.7 points, or 1.24 percent, from the previous session’s close of 5,635.99
points.

Trading
activity witnessed a significant surge, with the total turnover reaching RO 34,089,116.
This represents a notable increase of 29.4 percent compared to the last
session’s trading value of RO 26,344,853.

The official
market report further highlighted that the overall market capitalization
appreciated by 0.785 percent from the last trading day, advancing to
approximately RO 31.63 billion.

Detailing foreign investment activity, the
value of equities acquired by non-Omani investors totalled RO 3,233,000,
accounting for 9.48 percent of the total trading value. Meanwhile, the sales
value by non-Omani investors amounted to RO 3,186,000, representing 9.35
percent. This resulted in a net positive investment inflow from non-Omani
investors of RO 47,000, indicating a net inflow of 0.14 percent.
