27 May (ONA) — Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 index today closed at 4,529.67
points, dropping by 19.1 points, or 0.42 percent, compared to the previous trading
session’s close of 4,510.56 points.
The
trading value today reached RO 8,430,292, rising by 17.7 percent compared to
the last trading session’s value of RO 7,161,743.
The
MSX report indicated that the market capitalization increased by 0.242 percent
from the previous trading day, reaching approximately RO 27.76 billion.
Non-Omani
investors recorded purchases worth RO 456,000, accounting for 5.41 percent of
total trading, while their sales amounted to RO 1,123,000, representing 13.32
percent. Consequently, the net investment by non-Omani investors decreased by
RO 667,000, or 7.91 percent.
