17 Sep (ONA) — Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX 30) index today closed at 5,118.07
points, gaining 16.2 points, or 0.32%, compared to the last trading session’s
close of 5,101.88 points.
The
trading value reached RO 13,360,609, decreasing by 27.1% compared to the last
session’s value of RO 18,339,585.
MSX
report indicated that the market value went up by 0.183% from the last trading
day, reaching approximately RO 30.13 billion.
The
value of shares purchased by non-Omani investors reached RO 1,178,000,
constituting 8.82% of the total, while the value of their sales amounted to RO 1,049,000,
or 7.85%. Consequently, the net investment by non-Omanis increased by RO 129,000,
or 0.97%.
