2 Nov (ONA) — Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 Index concluded today’s trading
session at 5,634.11 points, registering a gain of 23.8 points, equivalent to 0.42
percent, from its previous close of 5,610.34 points.
Trading
activity witnessed a decline, with total market turnover reaching RO 47,681,647,
representing a decrease of 20 percent compared to the previous session’s RO 59,611,243.
According
to the official market report released by MSX, overall market capitalization
increased by 0.524 percent from the last trading day, settling at approximately
RO 31.50 billion.
Non-Omani
investor purchases totalled RO 4,700,000, accounting for 9.86 percent of total
market activity. Their sales amounted to RO 3,234,000, representing 6.78
percent of market turnover. This resulted in a net increase in foreign
investment of RO 1,466,000, equivalent to a 3.07 percent rise in foreign net
investment activity.
