31 Aug (ONA) — Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX 30) index today closed at 5,029.89
points, dropping 32.9 points, or 0.65%, compared to the last trading session’s
close of 5,062.79 points.
The
trading value reached RO 11,710,774, declining by 21% compared to the last
session’s value of RO 14,823,747.
MSX
report indicated that the market value decreased by 0.429% from the last
trading day, reaching approximately RO 29.82 billion.
The
value of shares purchased by non-Omani investors reached RO 408,000,
constituting 3.48% of the total, while the value of their sales amounted to RO 647,000,
or 5.52%. Consequently, the net investment by non-Omanis decreased by RO 238,000,
or 2.04%.
