27 Oct (ONA) — Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 Index closed today’s trading
session at 5,432.09 points, recording a gain of 36.2 points, equivalent to 0.67
percent, from its previous close of 5,395.89 points.
The
total market turnover reached RO 30,582,835, representing a decline of 16.2
percent compared to the previous session’s RO 36,497,322.
According
to the official market report released by the MSX, the overall market
capitalization increased by 0.111 percent from the last trading day, settling
at approximately RO 30.96 billion.
Non-Omani
investor activity demonstrated continued confidence, with purchases totalling
RO 2,621,000, accounting for 8.57 percent of total market activity. Their sales
amounted to RO 4,257,000, representing 13.92 percent of market turnover. This
resulted in a net decline in foreign investment of RO 1,636,000, equivalent to
a 5.35 percent rise in foreign net investment activity.
