3 Nov (ONA) — Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 Index concluded today’s trading
session at 5,674.93 points, registering a gain of 40.8 points, equivalent to 0.72
percent, from its previous close of 5,634.11 points.
Trading
activity witnessed a decline, with total market turnover reaching RO 42,188,650,
representing a decrease of 11.5 percent compared to the previous session’s RO 47,681,647.
According
to the official market report released by MSX, overall market capitalization
increased by 0.247 percent from the last trading day, settling at approximately
RO 31.53 billion.
Non-Omani
investor purchases totaled RO 4,329,000, accounting for 10.26 percent of total
market activity. Their sales amounted to RO 4,668,000, representing 11.06
percent of market turnover. This resulted in a net increase in foreign
investment of RO 339,000, equivalent to a 0.80 percent rise in foreign net
investment activity.
