2 Feb 2026 (ONA) — Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) main index closed higher
today, rising 0.10 percent.
The
MSX 30 Index concluded the trading session at 6,252.58 points, registering an
increase of 6.1 points from the previous close of 6,246.50 points.
Total
trading turnover reached RO 31,438,483, reflecting a drop of 26.7 percent
compared to the previous session’s value of RO 42,888,934.
MSX
market report noted that the overall market capitalization went up by 0.058
percent from the last trading day to approximately RO 33.35 billion.
The
trading activity of non-Omani investors saw purchases worth RO 4,712,000, representing
14.99 percent of the total market activity. Their sales amounted to RO 4,387,000,
accounting for 13.95 percent. This resulted in a net investment inflow of RO 326,000
from non-Omani investors, marking a rise of 1.04 percent.
