Occupation Forces Arrest 30 Palestinians in West Bank, Including Journalist and 2 Women

Occupied Jerusalem, 6 Aug (ONA) — Israeli occupation forces arrested at least 30 Palestinians from last night until this morning in various areas of the West Bank, including Jerusalem. Those detained included a journalist, two women, and several former prisoners.
The Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) quoted prisoners’ institutions as saying that the arrests and field investigations were concentrated in the city of Dura in the Hebron Governorate, while the rest were distributed among the governorates of Nablus, Bethlehem, Ramallah, Tulkarm, and Salfit.
In addition, the Israeli occupation continues to carry out widespread raids, abuse, and attacks against detainees and their families, in addition to direct shooting with the intent to kill, using detainees as hostages, conducting field investigations, and carrying out widespread acts of vandalism and destruction of Palestinian homes.
The number of arrests in the West Bank and Jerusalem has reached more than 18,500 cases. This figure does not include the arrests in Gaza, which are estimated in the thousands, noting that this tally includes those who were arrested and those who were later released. — Ends/AH
