Investment Forum Commences Tomorrow
Muscat,
8 Feb 2026 (ONA) — The Sultanate of Oman will host the Oman-Cebu Investment
Forum in Muscat tomorrow. The forum serves as a joint economic platform between
the Sultanate of Oman and the Philippines, aimed at expanding the horizons of
bilateral cooperation and strengthening economic and investment relations
between the two countries.
The
inaugural edition of the forum, held in July 2025 in Cebu City, Philippines,
was jointly organized by the Foreign Ministry and Oman Chamber of Commerce and
Industry in cooperation with competent Philippine authorities. That session focused
on exploring investment opportunities in several promising sectors, including
tourism, renewable energy, technology, and food security, in addition to
organizing field visits to Philippine economic zones aimed at exchanging
expertise and promoting mutual investments.
The
convening of this forum reaffirms the shared commitment to strengthening
cultural, commercial, tourism, and investment ties, and empowering economic
partnership by providing an attractive environment for exchanging ideas and
building effective partnerships between various sectors in the Sultanate of
Oman and the Philippines.
