Ministry of Culture Publishes 4 Books on Literature, Arts
Muscat, 5 Feb 2026 (ONA) — As part
of the outcomes of the ongoing Literary Forum,
the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth recently published four new books on
literature and arts. The step seeks to enhance the cultural scene in a manner that reflects the diversity of the Omani intellectual repertory
The first publication, authored by Dr.
Fakhria Al Yahya’ee, deals with the contemporary experience of artist Rasheed
Abdul-Rahman, offering an in-depth conceptional perusal about the thinking
of the late artist.
The second publication, also
authored by Dr. Fakhria Al Yahya’ee, quotes studies and visions about contemporaneity in visual arts. It includes contributions from a select
group of researchers and experts, offering a valuable scholarly resource for the
Arab academic library.
The third publication is a collection
of poems titled “Whispers of Glory” by poet Hilal Al Bahlani. The
publication includes poems celebrating national values, love for the Sultan and
emotional sentiments reflecting the enduring presence of classical Arabic
poetry as a medium of expression of identity and
cultural memory.
The fourth publication is a collection of
poems by Nasser Abdullah Al Raisi. It portrays human and patriotic feelings evoking
various aspects of the Omani cultural landscape.
