Muscat, 14 Dec 2025 (ONA) — The
Sultanate of Oman has expressed its strongest condemnation and denunciation of
the attack that targeted civilians on a beach in Sydney, Australia, which
resulted in a number of innocent casualties.
In an official statement issued by the Foreign Ministry today, the Sultanate of Oman extended its heartfelt
condolences and sincere sympathies to the families of the victims and to the
government and people of Australia, while wishing the injured a swift and full
recovery.
The statement reaffirmed Oman’s
unwavering position in condemning all forms and motivations of violence and
terrorism. It renewed its call to strengthen the values of coexistence and
tolerance among all religions and cultures, and to enhance international understanding
and cooperation in combating the scourge of extremism.
