E-Commerce Forum 2025 Showcases global Updates in Digital Economy
Muscat,
9 Sep (ONA) — The 2nd edition of Oman E-Commerce Forum 2025, which
kicked off today, showcased the latest global developments in the e-commerce
sector and future trends in digital economy.
The event was held at
Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre as part of the COMEX exhibition. It was organized by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment
Promotion.
The
forum included discussion panels and visual presentations that addressed key
topics, including the Ministry’s role in keeping pace with global developments
in the field of e-commerce, the future of artificial intelligence (AI) and data analysis, the role of smart
applications in supporting innovation and entrepreneurship and future trends in
innovation in small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
It
also looked into scopes for cooperation and partnerships between public and
private sectors.
The forum saw the launch of an “events platform” to manage data electronically and regulate the
registration of various types of events.
The forum, which offers online
ticket booking and the identification of event venues, was developed by Data
Mining Company in coordination with the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and
Investment Promotion.
