Expresses Full Solidarity with Qatar

Muscat,
9 Sep (ONA) — The Sultanate of Oman expresses its full solidarity with the State
of Qatar—its leadership, government, and people—and strongly denounces the heinous attack launched by Israel on Qatari territory.

The
Sultanate of Oman further condemns Israel’s acts of political assassination and
perfidy, which constitute a flagrant violation of international law, a grave
breach of state sovereignty, and a dangerous escalation that threatens regional
security and stability and undermines the prospects for peace.

In
a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry today, the Sultanate of Oman affirms
its support for all measures taken by the State of Qatar in confronting this
provocative aggression. It calls on the international community to uphold its
moral and political responsibilities and to employ its legal authority to deter
Israel and curb its violations of the foundations of security and peace in the
region.
