Oman Named Guest of Honour at Amman International Book Fair

Muscat, 16 Sep (ONA) — The Sultanate of Oman will be the
Guest of Honour at the 24th edition of Amman International Book Fair, which
will be held in Amman at the Hussein Convention Center from 25 September to 5 October
2025. At the event, Oman will be represented by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth.

Omani establishments and institutions that will participate in the 24th edition of Amman International Book Fair also include the Ministry of Information; the Ministry of Endowments and Religious
Affairs; the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism; Sultan Qaboos University; Oman Society for Writers and Literati, Bait
Al Zubair, in addition to libraries and private publishing establishments.

Oman achieved positive outcome
through its participation in recent book fairs held in the Kingdom of Saudi
Arabia, the State of Qatar, the Arab Republic of Egypt and South Korea.

During the book fairs, Oman underlined its deep-rooted cultural legacy, the support it accords to innovative cultural industries and programmes to showcase various forms of Omani culture, Oman’s tourism assets
and investment in culture. The pavilions also contributed to highlighting the
Sultanate of Oman’s status in the international cultural arena.
