Amman, Jan. 4 (Petra) – Orange Jordan announced on Sunday the launch of a “Digital Inclusion Guide” in Braille across all its stores nationwide, coinciding with World Braille Day.
The initiative aims to enhance the experience of customers with visual impairments and facilitate seamless access to the company’s digital services, as part of its broader inclusion program, Differently Abled, Definitely Enabled.
The guide is designed to help visually impaired customers easily identify devices, applications, services, and stores that support accessibility, ensuring a comprehensive and smooth experience across Orange Jordan’s retail and digital platforms. It incorporates multiple accessibility features, including sign language in Arabic and English, an audio reading function, and a printed Braille edition. The Braille guide will be available at Orange stores and on the company’s website by the end of January 2026.
Orange Jordan said the initiative reflects its commitment to delivering practical solutions with a positive and sustainable societal impact. The move underscores digital inclusion as a central pillar of the company’s strategy, promoting equal access to technology and digital services for persons with disabilities and empowering them to engage with digital solutions independently.
The company emphasized that accessible technology is a core principle, stating that “true technology is technology that is accessible to everyone, without exception.”
