Amman, Sept 8 (Petra) – A delegation from the Palestinian Cooperative Consumer Association on Monday examined the experience of the Civil Service Consumer Corporation (CSCC) in market management, provision of essential goods at fair prices, and strengthening strategic reserves.
CSCC Director-General Issam Al-Jarrah briefed the delegation, headed by association chairman Bassam Salameh and treasurer Faisal Al-Attari, on the corporation’s establishment, legal framework and regulations, and its role in supporting food security and consumer protection. He also outlined key projects under the corporation’s 2025–2027 strategic plan.
Al-Jarrah affirmed the corporation’s readiness to provide technical support and exchange expertise to help the Palestinian association succeed.
For his part, Salameh described the Civil Service Consumer Corporation as a successful model to be emulated in Palestine.
The delegation also visited the corporation’s Jubeiha market, where they reviewed its operations and internal monitoring systems.
