Gaza, August 01 (QNA) – A Palestinian died on Saturday from wounds sustained in an earlier Israeli strike on Deir Al-Balah in central Gaza, medical sources said.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces continued their military operations across the Gaza Strip, carrying out airstrikes targeting homes, warehouses and agricultural land in the Al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza.
Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital said an Israeli airstrike overnight destroyed its warehouse for medicines and medical supplies and a nearby camp for displaced people in Deir Al-Balah.
Israeli artillery shelled areas east of Gaza City as tanks opened heavy fire and military aircraft flew over the enclave.
The Israeli military also stepped up overnight strikes on homes and other facilities while issuing new evacuation orders for neighborhoods and residential blocks in northern and central Gaza.
According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, the death toll from Israel’s ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 2023 has risen to 73,341, with 174,086 others injured. (QNA)
