Amman, Feb. 23 (Petra) — Prime Minister Jafar Hassan met Albanian President Bajram Begaj at the Prime Ministry on Monday to discuss ways to strengthen relations and expand cooperation across key sectors.
Hassan said Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, is keen to advance ties with the Republic of Albania and deepen cooperation in health, education, information technology and tourism, in the interest of both countries.
Begaj expressed appreciation for the level of relations between the two countries, praising Jordan’s pivotal role, under the King’s leadership, in promoting security and stability in the region and advancing dialogue and understanding among nations.
The meeting also addressed several regional and international issues of mutual concern. Both sides stressed the importance of intensifying international efforts to halt escalation in the region and support initiatives aimed at achieving peace and stability.
