NNA – Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam, on Tuesday afternoon chaired a meeting of the National Water Authority, at the Grand Serail.

During the meeting, the situation of the countryrsquo;s water sector was discussed.

The meeting was attended by Minister of Energy and Water Joe Saddi, Minister of Interior and Municipalities Brigadier General Ahmad Hajjar, Minister of Industry Joe Issa Khoury, Minister of Environment Tamara El-Zein, Minister of Public Works and Transport, Fayez Rasamny, and Minister of Public Health Rakan Nassereddine.

The meeting was also attended by the Secretary General of the Council of Ministers Judge Mahmoud Makkieh, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director General of the Beirut and Mount Lebanon Water Corporation Jean Gebran, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director General of the South Lebanon Water Establishment Wassim Daher, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director General of the North Lebanon Water Establishment Khaled Obeid, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director General of the Litani River National Authority Sami Alawieh.
