Khartoum, March 6, 2026 (SUNA) – Prime Minister Professor Kamil Idris said the Sudanese Armed Forces are achieving major victories during this holy month across various combat axes.He delivered the remarks after performing the Friday prayer at Al-Waledayn Mosque in Omdurman, where he brought good news to citizens that the Armed Forces and the supporting troops in the “Battle of Dignity” fully hold the initiative on all fronts and are determined to liberate every inch of the country’s territory from mercenaries and aggressors.The Prime Minister called on the Sudanese people to unify the internal front behind the Armed Forces and to seek the shared human values that unite citizens so that they may stand as one in undertaking the battle of reconstruction and rebuilding, and in achieving a comprehensive and just peace acceptable to all Sudanese.He stated that peace “must be the peace of knights, the peace of courageous victors, and the peace guided by the spirit of the Great Battle of Badr,” expressing hope that the holy month would be a month of conquests and that 2026 would be a year of peace and stability.BH/BH
